  New (shorter) route from Atlanta - From I-75, take the (2nd) Forsyth exit/Hwy 83 and turn right. Stay on this road (it will become State Route 42 after you go through Forsyth), until you get to US341. Turn left, go to the 2nd red light in Roberta and turn left, then turn right onto S. Mathews Street.
  Old directions: From Atlanta -I-75 South to I-475 South. Turn right/west onto Hwy 80W (Eisenhower Parkway) to Roberta. Or, from Macon, take Hwy 80W to Roberta. In Roberta, turn left/south on N. Mathews Street. It becomes S. Mathews Street when you cross over Agency Street.
  The Civic Center, which is actually an old wooden church, is located at 93 South Mathews Street, just south of the old part of the town, next to the recycling center. South Mathews is one block east of Highway 341.

  Proximity to Pellissippi Parkway and Clinton Highway makes it convenient to Oak Ridge, Maryville, Clinton, and all parts westward. Claxton Community Center is a spacious, brightly lit, wood-floored former church building. All agree it's a good building for singing in.
