Steve Helwig (1957–2018) was a beloved member of the Eugene community: part of the crew at KLCC (Oregon public radio) for years; a singer of Sacred Harp music who started singing with the group here but went all over the country and the world singing it; and a member of a soccer group with whom he had lots of fun.
