Yale Southern Harmony Singing in Honor of Erin Fulton

At the suggestion of Ian Quinn, a session of the weekly Yale-New Haven Regular Singing was coopted to bid farewell to Erin Fulton, who had been conducting research in the New Haven area for the previous summer. All selections were from Erin's favorite book, The Southern Harmony, 1854 facsimile, 1987 UofK reprint; Charles Biada, with assistance from Erin, prepared a packet of songs appropriate for use.

What a delightful time we had on Tuesday singing the music of the Southern Harmony! We numbered 17, welcoming new, visiting, and returning faces. Many thanks to Ian, Charles, and Erin especially for bringing this experiment to fruition. We'll miss you at our gatherings, we wish you well in your continuing endeavors and we look forward to singing with you again soon!
