The tenth annual Joe Beasley Memorial Singing was called to order by Marlin Beasley leading 32t, Corinth.
The morning prayer was offered by Elder J.L. Hopper.

Marlin Beasley explained the order of singing for the day: the first session would be from The Sacred Harp, 1991 edition; the second session from The B. F. White Sacred Harp (Cooper Book), 2000 Revision; the third session from The Christian Harmony ('Alabama book', Deason-Parris revision, 2002 printing); and the fourth session from The Primitive Hymns: Spiritual Songs and Sacred Poems (Lloyd's); closing with The Sacred Harp (1991) as time allowed. Marlin Beasley then led 40, Lenox.
