Saturday, August 25

The Mississippi State Sacred Harp Singing Convention convened at Antioch Church in its seventy-third annual session for two days of worship in song service to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, when and where the following proceedings were had, to-wit:

President Mark Davis called the convention to order leading song on page 37b (SH), Liverpool.
Chaplain Arlon Gardner led the morning prayer. President Davis welcomed all, especially visitors from our of state, and appointed Arranging Committee: Nancy Van den Akker and Junie McNeil; Business and Credentials: Tim Gray and Hugh McGuire; Location: Mark Davis and W.M. Allen; Memorials: Wanda Gregg and John Hollingsworth.
